April Tierney- Poet


April Tierney is a poet, craftswoman, activist, mother, and lover of stories. Her work follows threads of ecopoetics, myth, culture, and lineage. She is the author of three full length collections of poetry, including her most recent book, Memory Keeper (Wayfarer Books, 2022).


She was also the editor for a photographic anthology, entitled Exposure, and a contributor to the newly released literary anthology, Dawn Songs: A Bird Watcher's Field Guide to the Poetics of Migration, edited by Jamie Reaser and Drew Lanham.


Her poetry has been nominated for The Pushcart Prize, and featured in Orion, The Wayfarer Magazine, and Real Ground Journal, among others.
