Erie, Colorado

“Since art has always been my passion, I am especially fortunate to also have been able to make it my career.” Since graduating from Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, Jane has worked as a commercial artist for ad agencies, entertainment companies, book publishers, and toy companies. Her client list includes Disney, Warner Brothers, Sesame Street, Mattel Toys, Tomy Toys, Macmillan
Publishing, Scholastic Publishing, Random House, and many more.
Jane Yamada now lives in Erie and enjoys the more relaxed lifestyle that Colorado has to
offer. She now pursues her love of painting – especially the aspen trees that grow throughout Colorado. She creates a 3 dimensional world of “floating leaves”, by painting scores of individual leaves and attaching them to her painted backgrounds. Working with imaginative color palettes, she paints fanciful, colorful and unique aspen scenes.

About the microseismic Industry Consortium
Founded in January 2010 the Microseismic Industry Consortium is a novel, applied-research geophysical initiative dedicated to the advancement of research, education and technological innovations in microseismic methods and their practical applications for resource development. Working with industry partners and government agencies, the Consortium is a team of faculty, students and researchers hosted by the University of Calgary and the University of Alberta
Jane Yamada’s journey from the kinetic pulse of Los Angeles to the serene rhythm of Colorado feels like swapping a storyboard for a canvas—though in her case, both dance with imagination. Her “floating leaves” technique doesn’t just catch the eye; it hijacks perspective entirely, creating a layered stillness that’s anything but still. There’s something delightfully ironic about an artist who once painted for Sesame Street now crafting enchanted groves that whisper with color. And for those craving a different kind of visual thrill, where spins replace brushstrokes, crazy time live casino brings its own kaleidoscopic spectacle—no leaves, but plenty of movement.
